I am a gen Y that believes that we have the power to make the world a cool and cosy place.

My goal is to make this blog a welcoming community for all of the optimists out there, who trust in entrepreneurship, innovation and technologies to solve pressing issues in terms of human rights, education, health, environment, etc.

Endlessly curious, I am a 22 years old graduate from a Bachelor in International Business, a degree that, even though interesting, left me hungry for more. My range of interests goes from astrophysics, web development, to women’s rights movements and French literature. Travelling around the world through internships in Canada, Germany, and a particularly crazy Erasmus year in the United Kingdom, I have always felt like a global citizen absorbing all the information from the wonderful cultures and people I’ve encountered.

The element that triggered it all was my humanitarian experience in Nairobi, Kenya, when I decided, at only 18 years old at the time, to work for an NPO that seeks empowerment of youth in Eastern Africa. Although terrified of leaving the comfortable environment that was my home and family in France, and shocked by the living conditions and the situations that I witnessed there, I began aware of the incredible impact of all the women and men working selflessly to make the world a better place.

Now that I have graduated, I have realized that it was my time to focus on discovering the work of social entrepreneurs who are making substantial change around the world. I will use this blog as a way to gather together what I learn, as well as to discuss the urging social and environmental issues and the solutions that are being brought to life by the cool start-ups out there.

I am French, so y’all should excuse me if I make English mistakes ;-) I can’t wait to hear your thoughts about Work&Change, as well as to be inspired by all the amazing ideas presented in my blog!
